As the Customer Care Representative, you will focus on existing customers by providing outstanding customer service and supporting the customer’s decision to choose MVDconnect for their business communications and collaboration needs.

Job Duties

Operations

Avaya Remote Maintenance and Technical Support - United States -

The purpose of the RMATS is to remotely: repair voice & data equipment, program voice & data equipment, troubleshoot voice & data equipment and support the field service techs with both the CM and IP Office platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Expected to act professionally when communicating with an MVD customer or with any MVD business partners.
  • Must get customer approvals on the assigned task and turn them into dispatch within 48 hours of the completion of each task.
  • Responsible for communicating with Dispatch and Project Managers on the status of open tasks and orders.
  • Responsible for accessing and servicing customer equipment remotely to the best of their ability and escalating issues per assigned procedures to ensure that customer problems are resolved.
  • Support Field Service Technicians and Business Partners as needed.
  • Work with manufacturers to resolve customer’s issues.
  • Process change orders as needed.
  • Responsible to maintain required certs.
  • Participate in weekly on-call rotation.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to use manufacturer’s manuals and public information to resolve issues.
  • Ability to Project manage larger multisite projects and Lead them through and be on site for cutover.

Avaya Field Technician - Cincinnati, OH -

The Avaya Field Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and installation of voice and data equipment. The field technician's essential duties include, but not limited to, the following:

Responsibilitie Include:

  • Technicians are responsible for installing equipment to the best of their ability and notifying their supervisor of any issues
  • Technicians are responsible to maintain and adhere to applicable certifications for their position and job functions. MVD makes available necessary training options and offers considerations for additional training based on technology evaluations and performance reviews
  • Maintain appropriate SLA’s with customer tickets
  • Ability to support normal work schedules along with on-call rotation

Required Skills

Project Manager - Cincinnati, OH -

As a Project Manager at MVDconnect, you will be responsible for leading outstanding and consistent project implementation within a small team, coordinating both remote and direct labor. You must communicate clearly and professionally with the customers to deliver an approved Scope of Work for each project. The Project Manager often has multiple projects running at once, requiring an organized and multitask-oriented person who can lead all the necessary activities related to the compilation and execution of MVDconnect contracts. Utilizing Microsoft Project or equivalent software, you must keep projects on-time and within budget.

Responsibilitie Include:

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Manage and track all assigned projects via project tracker timeline
  • Assigns duties and examines work for correctness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures
  • Responsible for all documentation of projects
  • Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers at customer site, at MVDconnect, and over the phone
  • Project Managers are expected to act professionally when representing MVD at a customer’s site or in a company vehicle
  • Responsible to track work in progress and report monthly on order status and cost status

Project Management Attributes

  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
  • Coordinate customer and technical resources schedules to allow adequate resources to complete the project
  • Monitors project timelines and escalates any expected changes
  • Escalate technical issues to Operations Manager in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all aspects of the customer contract are adhered to during installation. All training and all punch list items are to be completed prior to customer sign off
  • Responsible to get final customer sign off for order completion and sign-off of leasing documentation, if applicable
  • Responsible to review order once complete and forward to accounting for billing within 48 hours of completion
  • Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency
  • Oversees creation and approval of changes to contact, including change orders
  • Maintain 95% customer satisfaction for installations

Required Skills

  • 3+ Year experience in a project management position; combination of education and experience is acceptable
  • PMP certifications are a plus
  • Ability to review a project Scope of Work and create a project timeline to deliver to the customer
